In 2023, only 2% of venture capital went to women. And for Black founders (of any gender), that number drops to less than 0.5%.
We’re constantly told that if we work hard enough, we’ll succeed. But women and underrepresented entrepreneurs often face barriers. From the moment we enter the workforce, we’re underpaid and undervalued. Women-founded businesses receive half the capital their male counterparts do.
